First update, bugfixes and soon...

Hello Delvers!

Christmas is barely over and we're already back to work on Delve!

Considering the really short timeframe don't expect too much, this is more of a maintenance release.
Manual and extras are still in the works, we've corrected a few bugs that managed to slip thru (I swear I had squished them all. I guess I need a bigger warhammer...), optimized a few things here and there and for the joy of the impatient ones, shortened the loading time thanks to the marvels of data compression. (It's incredible how small some program can get if you bash them with your warhammer hard enough... *cough*).
We also corrected the default keys to work correctly on real hardware. Please note that now the CRSR UP/DOWN will scroll down and CRSR LEFT/RIGHT will scroll up. For emulation, that corresponds to RIGHT cursor key for UP and DOWN cursor key for DOWN. No changes for joystick users, you guys are golden.

Last but not least, Delve Deeper will see quite soon a localized edition. And since we're mamma mia a-italians, that will be the first localization. Interested in translating delve in your own language? Contact us. Fluent people in both english and the language you intend to translate only, please. Time costraints, memory space and font limitations DO apply. No, we won't use automatic translation software.

Delve v1.2 (Build 1846)

• Corrected the avid monster behaviour. It was supposed to let you thru if you paid him. Now he does so.
• Corrected a visual bug for monsters that take your food. Now they show the correct text.
• Corrected the Rainbow Gem inventory symbol. It was showing the wrong one.
• A couple internal mechanisms have been reworked. No visible influence in the game, but they may allow for furhter improvements later on.
• Some data files have been further compressed. This change will increase loading speed up to 60% on original hardware or un-accelerated emulation.
• Menu navigation buttons have been modified, for ease of use on original hardware or or original keyboard. The game page has been changed to reflect this change.
• Quick manual has been also updated to include this change.
• Manual and D64 disk image file are now bundled in a single ZIP file for easier downloads.
